Our Mission

Our aim is to rescue second-hand books and find them new loving homes, whilst raising money and awareness for local animal rescues.

Each month we choose a different local rescue to help. 20% of all our sales is donated to these rescues.

Featured Pet

At 15 years young, Edgar is a sweet, social gentleman who sees the world a little differently. His vision isn’t the best, but once he learns his surroundings, he gets around remarkably well using his whiskers and other senses.

Edgar is a proper smooch who loves affection, being close to his people and having a good chat. He also has early-stage kidney disease, currently managed with a renal-support diet.

He’d love a calm, predictable home and could potentially live with other cats or a gentle dog with careful introductions. Edgar isn’t asking for much – just comfort, affection and someone to love him for all the chapters he has left.
