The In Death Series (Books 5–7) by J.D. Robb follows Lieutenant Eve Dallas, a homicide detective in a futuristic New York, as she investigates a series of increasingly disturbing murders. In Ceremony in Death, Vengeance in Death and Holiday in Death, Eve faces cases involving secret societies, revenge and a deadly killer targeting victims during the Christmas season, while her relationship with billionaire Roarke continues to develop. Across the three books, Eve’s investigations combine police procedural mystery, futuristic technology, crime and personal relationships as she confronts dangerous criminals and the darker sides of human behaviour.
