McCreary Moves in - Morris West
Mike McCreary, an Irish expert in oil drilling, is staying in a hotel room in Jakarta. He has no money, no job, and faces the prospect of being expelled from the country. An unexpected offer seems to solve his problems: he is asked to travel to a remote Indonesian island to drill a well. The only condition is that he must not ask questions, and the pay will be extremely generous.
