Omertà centres on the Aprile family and the secretive world of the Mafia, where loyalty, honour and silence are everything. When powerful New York Mafia boss Don Raymonde Aprile is assassinated, his adopted nephew Astorre Viola becomes caught in the struggle surrounding the family’s legacy.
As rival crime organisations, corrupt officials and the FBI pursue their own agendas, Astorre must navigate a dangerous world of shifting loyalties, greed and betrayal. Drawing its title from the traditional Sicilian code of silence, Omertà is a fast-paced tale of organised crime, family loyalty, power and revenge from the author of The Godfather.
