The Witcher's Code is perfectly clear on one point: a witcher should never kill a dragon.

Dragons are an endangered species, even though most people consider them the most vicious of reptiles. The Code permits witchers to hunt monsters such as wyverns, forktails and flying drakes—but not dragons.

And yet, Geralt the Witcher joins an expedition organised by King Niedamir to hunt a dragon hiding in the caves of the Pustul Mountains. Along the way, he encounters the bard Dandelion and—of course—the sorceress Yennefer. Among the renowned dragon slayers summoned by the king are Eyck of Denesle, a knight without blemish; the Reavers of Cinfrid; and a band of six dwarves led by Yarpen Zigrin. Their motives may differ, but they all share the same goal.

The dragon doesn't stand a chance.
