T-Shirt and Genes by Richard Asplin is a witty romantic comedy about Charlie Ellis, a science teacher whose love life falls spectacularly apart after an embarrassing incident leaves him single and unemployed. Determined to understand why relationships and attraction are so complicated, Charlie turns to biology and evolutionary science for answers, attempting to apply scientific theories to the messy world of dating. What follows is a funny and slightly chaotic exploration of love, sex, attraction and the difference between what makes sense on paper and what actually works in real life.
